PARTNER - England
Paul Burton is a leadership facilitator. He is an expert in business leadership, sales, team development and change management.
He has had numerous leadership roles, many working with remote teams, which helped him to develop a very influence-based model of leadership.
Paul Burton realised early on in his career that simply telling people how to do things does not work, particularly in remote teams or highly matrixed organisations, where each individual needs to work independently. Engaging people in their learning and development produces far better results.
Between 1988 and 2002 Paul worked extensively within the automotive industry, working for several manufacturers and the agencies delivering specific programmes often working with remote teams.
Over the last 17 years Paul has worked in training consultancy throughout Europe and in many other countries and cultures including, Dubai, Iran, Kuwait, KSA, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Singapore and the USA. Industry sectors include technology, pharma, banking, finance, Industry, FMCG and cosmetics.
Working for British American Tobacco in the Middle East the 6 modules he delivered over a period of 12 months, with assignments in between, created highly motivated and skilled leaders, many of whom were promoted either whilst still on the programme or within 6 months of its completion.
PAUL IS CONVINCED:
People are capable of far more than they realise. A good leader must create an environment where people do not just succeed, they “Thrive and Grow”. Such an environment does not happen by accident. It requires skill, passion and vision from the leader.
